(How We Work)

How we work.

Summary: Thresh & Winnow is a founder-led GTM engineering agency. We keep our client list short so every client gets our full attention, and every system we build is shaped around how your team actually sells: your market, your buyers, your CRM. The person on your first call is the person doing the work.

Who does the work?

Uchenna, the founder, leads every engagement, from the first call to the build and the weekly checks after launch. There’s no handoff to a junior team once the contract is signed.

Why keep the client list short?

So every account gets our full attention, and the work never gets stretched thin to make room for the next logo.

What happens before anything goes live?

  • Data from several sources, checked against each other
  • Every email verified before it’s sent
  • Every CRM change tested on a small set of records first
  • Deliverability checked every week
  • Documentation for everything we build

What don’t we do?

  • Automate judgement. We automate the repetitive work so our time goes into who to contact, why now and what to say.
  • Send cold email from your main domain.
  • Add tools you don’t need.

What happens in the first month?

Weeks one and two: infrastructure set up and warming, and your market mapped. Weeks two to three: signals scored and the first campaign live. Weeks three and four: we measure what lands and sharpen it. After that, ongoing iteration, CRM cleaning, rep alerts and a brief for every call we book.

Questions

Why work with a small agency?
Because the person who scoped the work is the person who builds it. Nothing gets lost in a handoff.
How do you keep bad data out?
No data provider is perfect, so we never rely on just one. Every record is checked across several sources and every email is verified before it’s sent. If we can’t confirm a detail, we don’t use it to personalise a message.
